In this set of works, the viewer is introduced into a resource scarce, tense, and intense world. Rice, corn, Potato and bread, as the basic food for human survival, are forced to play more complex roles under the gunfire of conflicts. In the scene, the sprayed food creates a shocking contrast against the backdrop of violence, as if expressing the helplessness and longing for survival. It not only triggers the appreciation of food, but also implies the profound impact of war on human life.
