On November 15, 2017, artist Forest Young visited nearly a hundred soon-to-be-demolished newsstands in Shanghai and invited the last batch of newsstand owners to wear masks with the words “No Talking Today” printed on them, and bid farewell to the once glorious era of newsstands in silence for a day.
