In 2024, artist Forest Young created a special piece for the August 1st Army Day. From the perspective of a huge PLA shoe sole, combined with elements such as military certificates, discharge certificates, and unemployment certificates, he observes the ups and downs of a soldier's life. The artist asks the audience, "What traces have we left for this world？”
